Warrior Forum - Adsense

Hello!
This week I took a few days off, after writing myself into a brain melt. So many articles! It yielded results though, so I shouldn’t complain.
This week I found a thread on the Warrior Forum that is extremely interesting. In it an internet marketer known as xfactor has diligently explained exactly how he makes $300 per day (yes, guys, that is day!). He does it using an exceptionally simple method including Adsense.
Now many people have said Adsense is dead - but I say long live Adsense. John has given everyone every bit of information that he knows for free on the forum. He has answered so many questions, some of them more than once, and this has resulted in a thread that is 32 pages long.
What is interesting is that he has made all the information anyone would need for nothing, no cost at all, on the forum. He was specifically asked more than once to write a product putting all the information together, which he has done. But actually, all the information is there on the forum which he frequently tells us. In fact, his signature which tells us about his report refers the reader to the thread, so that they can get it all for free.
Also on the thread are people reporting on their successes. So people have actually taken the free advice and made money.
Now you would have thought that bearing in mind they can get everything they need, why would they then buy the course? There is not much difference, although in with the paid course you do get one extra.
The product also includes a forum, and I know one member of the Warrior Forum has designed a wordpress theme to go along with it, although I have no idea if there is a charge associated with the wordpress theme.
To me, this really underlines the Law Of Reprecosity. If something is given freely then a person feels that they ought to give something back. The value of the information is very high, and I have no doubt that xfactor has done extremely well out of patiently answering questions time after time.
This is something I want to practise more of, regardless of the outcome. To me it feels like good karma to share something positive in our lives.

During this week I am going to make a list of the tools that I am using to make money, as well as sharing the tips that I do. I want to make sure that I give everyone the benefit of my experience.
Incidentally, I have not yet bought the product that xfactor has written. I have taken the information from the thread and started a couple of sites, which I will let you know about in due course. Adsense is something that you do need to be consistant at, as well as all the other sorts of marketing.
I think $300 a day within six months is a great leap though. It just shows what you can do if you put your mind to it!

Make Money Typing At Home

If you want to make money typing at home then you do need a definite plan. Then you need to stick to it!
If you read my previous post about having a second project on the go while I do the first project - project two, which incidentally was about flipping websites, has definitely died a death.
An interesting point came up on the 4 Day Money Making Blueprint forum. At what point does one give up on a campaign?
I have to say I think it is a personal thing. I personally draw the line at 500. So, if I have 500 clicks of a product that I really believe in, but no sales, then that is it - I do no more to promote that project.
This brings us to one of the quandries of internet marketing. During my five hundred clicks I will have done some testing - changing my style of article or maybe changing my landing page, trying different things out. I usually let the change test for 100 clicks. I am not saying I am correct here, and this is what everyone should do, but this is how I do it.
Actually, I have never read anywhere anyone saying well, give it this many clicks and then call it a day. I think that is because then the allow for - dare I say it - failure of a product or campaign. But we all know that failure is the way forward.You have to fail many times before you find what works.
Two other interesting things I have heard this week include: A story which was quoted to me as being from the Warrior Forum (wonderful place to pick up great tips, for beginner or even advanced marketers).
A man knew nothing about internet marketing but wanted to make some money online. He just wrote five articles every day when he came home from work. Every day, five articles, this went on for a month. At the end of the month he had made $3,000!
Now, some of that has to be luck, but it was the person who made consistant effort is the one that got lucky! It just shows us consistancy (one of my main problems) is the way forward.
Secondly was a story of a man with a family to support, no money, no job, no home of his own. He started doing internet marketing with no previous knowledge, just using what was given away for free! He worked at it for 15 months, by which time he had managed to become financially stable with a nice house etc.
I wonder how quickly it would have happened for him if he had bought Four Day Money Making Blueprint? As you may know, I made money 15 days after buying 4 Day Money Making Blueprint - something which shocked me, to say the least.
I am hoping to quit my day job this side of Christmas, although I am aware it may take me to the end of January. Here’s hoping, huh!
If you want to imitate the $3,000 man, (nice, just before Christmas!) or the 15 month man, then you might consider the 4 Day Money Making Blueprint as a way to make money typing at home.

Wealthy Affiliate Recommends 4 Day Money Making Blueprint

Hi there!
Just some thoughts today.
Over the last two days I have been cleaning my room. Now I know that makes it sound like I was living in a pigsty - but no, it was just one of those total spring cleans, although it was looking pretty bad.
I have to say I feel much better about things since I did it. My desk is clear, and it feels like my mind is clearer too. Clarity is a great thing.
Now, I am not saying this will happen to everyone, but today after I had finished doing all the spring cleaning; I checked Clickbank, and I was pleased to see that I had made a sale from the work I had done on 4 Day Money Making Blueprint.
4 Day Money Making Blueprint made me money less time than any other programme I have ever bought. I think that this is because it takes you step by step through every single little thing you need to set up a campaign online.
It is ideal for newbies, because it really does cover everything. Rather than assume you know this or that, it explains it in great detail.
When you have bought the plan you will then discover a second book, I haven’t found it on Clickbank so I do not think you can buy it separately. It is very very inexpensive - but contains everything you need to know about copywriting. Both of them are available for less than $50 which is a fantastic bargain in my opinion.
Finally I will leave you with this little experiment.

Try and open the book.
Do you notice that trying to open the book is very much like not opening the book?

Many of you will have heard of Travis Sago, and his bum marketing methods. For anyone who doesn’t know, Travis Sago is said to have invented bum marketing - literally, marketing so simple he could take a bum off the street, and teach him to make money using this method.
Travis has provided many instructional videos and if you join his email list, he gives lots and lots of information on the bum marketing methods.
Travis is also a very active member of Wealthy Affiliate, which I am sure I have mentioned before.
Until recently there has never been an indepth ebook or ecourse to buy about bum marketing. But I have found one, and it is a doozy!
Named Conversations With Travis it is for the total newbie, and it teaches affiliate marketing right from the beginning. There are no assumptions that the newbie knows this, or that; this is ultimate basic affiliate marketing.
If you are an affiliate marketing newbie, and you want to learn step by step all the basics and get your first campagain up in very little time (less than a week) then this is the course for you.
Everything to do with basic affiliate marketing is covered. Not just covered, it is covered in detail with videos taking the reader through every little step.

Wealthy Affiliate Member Says: Never Give In!

Yep I haven’t been around for about a month. I took July off to spend some time with my family, plus I had one or two items that needed some time spent on them away from the internet.
As I come back people are talking about another Google slap. It seems to me that there isn’t much information about the slap that is utterly quantifiable right now. One thing I have heard is that Google doesn’t like affiliate marketers and it is us that are getting slapped hardest.
If any of my readers are concerned about this, I would like to direct you to a guy I have been following for a while and who makes a whole lot of sense, Andrew Hansen. You can read his thoughts on Google slap.
So, one of the reasons I took some time off was because I was totally fed up with affiliate marketing, internet marketing, the whole nine yards.
I felt pulled in all sorts of directions, I felt let down by people I respected, and I felt that perhaps this just wasn’t going to be the career for me. I think many of us feel like that from time to time. Taking a month out has given me time to think about what I want to do and where I have been going wrong.
Many of you will know that I have been internet marketing for about a year now. I am sad to admit that I do not yet earn enough to “fire my boss”. I did seriously think about giving up the whole deal, canceling my Aweber and Hostgator accounts and heading back to what some consider normality. But there is something inside me that knows that this can work, and that it will work for me.
I have gathered so much information in the last year, so much knowledge, that surely it must count for something? It feels like I have all the pieces of the jigsaw but I just need to line them all up right.
Then I realised what was missing. It is fairly embarrassing to admit but what I have lacked is consistancy.
I know I need to keep doing things day after day to make the links and get the recognition I need to succeed. I need to be seen as an expert in my niche, and I need my site to have links, great links.
For your information, I have tried a few link shortcuts and frankly they do not work. I have added my site to link directory after link directory - don’t bother. Unless you have a page on your site that has a load of reciprocal links (who would want that anyway, it would ruin your SEO techniques) then you really shouldn’t waste time with that.
I believe that in order to get good quality links you need to think about what you are putting out there. Get links these ways:
Putting articles on EzineArticles. GoArticles or similar
Making Squidoo lenses, or hubpages, or ehow to’s
Writing good comments on peoples blogs. By which I mean not “great blog interesting info” type comments - add some value people! I get hundreds of comments that are just a waste of time. I mark them as spam.
When you pay good money for links, I think those are the links people make. Generic meaningless comments that just get deleted.
So make it meaningful, add some value, give an opinion, help someone out, that way your comments will be appreciated.
Use forums. Most of them will allow a signature. This is a great way to build a reputation, build relationships. You can easily add value to a discussion in your particular niche. Every time you add value people will not only see that you know what you are talking about, but they will also see your signature with your website on it. It’s another link.
I read somewhere that a new site needs about 1,000 links. That sounds like a huge amount, but if you are consistant (see it comes back to that again!) that amount is possible. Decide how long you want to work on your site before it becomes successful, pulling in many visitors per day. 100 days? So you need to produce ten links a day.
I have a site that is a few months old and it has links, a few. Some internal links too, of course, they are vital. But I am going to work hard on it. I am going to invest some time in it.
Every single day in August I am going to add an article to my site, to EzineArticles, plus to anywhere else I can where I can add value. I am aiming at ten links per day. I will not be checking email every five minutes, hanging out on twitter, chatting on the phone, or any other distraction. My daily goal is ten links which add value. Until I do that everything else can wait. It is my attempt at consistancy.

Wealthy Affiliate Member Advises: Links - the lifeblood of the internet

Hi there,
I know a few people signed up to affiliate windows after my previous post. I wonder if you have made a squidoo lens? Is it sitting there doing nothing? Have you made any money yet? Are you getting traffic to your lens?
Putting up a squidoo lens is not enough to make you loads of money. If it was as easy as that, everyone would be doing it.
What you need is links. Links mean Google can see who you are linked to, and you get kudos by association. The more links you have the more possibilities for traffic to your lens.The more traffic to your lens the more likely you are to get sales!
If you have something you are passionate about, and you make a lens on that, it is easier because you probably know a bit about your subject.
That is great because you can add value to your lens, and it will make it more attractive to traffic.
But you do need to let people know you are there.
One great way to do that is to use forums. Most forums allow you to add a signature to your postings. If you put the address of your lens in there, then whenever you post your lens link will be seen and possibly clicked on.
I have a link, just one, on a forum and that link alone gets me 5-15 visitors a week to one of my lenses.
Obviously the best forums to choose are ones that get a lot of traffic themselves. Find one where there are other people passionate about your subject, that ask questions. When you answer the questions you will get publicity for your lens. A busy forum is a great resource!
Another way is to post comments on peoples blogs. Don’t just go to any old blog and write about your subject, find people with similar interests.
If you go to www.icerocket.com you can put in the keywords you need and it will come up with blogs that have postings on those keywords.
If you like you can use one of the many free page rank checkers to find blogs with high page rank. Google ranks pages from 0 to 10, 10 being the highest. For example, squidoo.com is currently ranked 8 I believe. Not every site has a ranking, but as soon as your site gets ranked you will see a sharp rise in traffic.
Anyway, I digress, back to links and your squidoo lens.
Another way to get links is to use your rss feed. If you look on the left of your lens you will see the symbol used for rss feeds, the orange square. You can click on that, and you will get the code for your own personal rss feed. This can then be submitted to various rss feed directories. Try feedage.com and feedest.com.
Another way to get traffic is to join squidoo groups. First make sure that your lens comes up on Google though, put the full title of the lens in “” and do a search for it. If it comes up then start joining squidoo groups. There are groups for every subject plus there are general groups also. By joining these you can increase your traffic as people will visit you from your group. Be sure to return the favour and rank, lensroll and favourite your new friends lenses.
Another way to increase your web presence is to make more than one lens. You can link the lenses together using the introductory module, and this makes you look like more of an expert in your field.
Don’t limit yourself to squidoo lenses. Try eHowto.com, and hubpages.com.
You could even set yourself up a weebly website which is easy and free. You can start yourself off a blogger blog, again easy and free, and write in it regularly. Add links to your lenses and also add the rss feed of your blog to your lens, that way your lens gets new information on it regularly to help attract traffic.

I am a bit gutted that I wasn’t into internet marketing when I lived round the corner to him; now I live miles away I don’t see him every week to pick his brains!

Wealthy Affiliate shows: How To Get Years Ahead!

Hello there,
Yes its a double posting today. That is because of something rather special.
The eagle-eyed among you will have spotted my new banner over there. This is something I strongly urge you to take a look at. It was made by my friend, David Congreave. David is a great guy, I knew him before I even got into internet marketing. When I saw it I immediately gave him a call, because I was amazed that he was giving this stuff away. (I sound like one of those g***, I am sorry!)
Anyway, I took advantage of it. The first bit is free - hurrah our favourite word! - but there is a small charge for the more indepth information. You will see if you do click on it, that there are only 100 of the indepth information ebooks being sold. Now, I know that lots and lots of the gurus say that, but then they sell millions of them.
But I know that Dave Congreave is as honest as the day is long - I am not kidding here! - so I asked him directly. And he told me that yes, when the 100 run out, they are gone. There is something that replaces them, but the original 100 are exactly that, 100.
I bought it and I was blown away.
There are things on there that are ridiculously easy to set up. I actually set up one of his projects myself in about four hours. Now, it’s only been up less than a day, so it’s not possible to talk about the success of it yet! But I am very hopeful about it and I will let you know.
One other thing. I cannot tell you much about this because along with the full product is a confidentiality agreement. Yes folks, this is serious stuff. I cannot talk about it, since I signed the confidentiality agreement, which I wouldn’t dream of breaking. This stuff will not be leaked onto the internet for at least five years. So if you do decide to buy the full copy (if there are any left) you are going to be five years ahead of the game.
You know that I like to let you know about free stuff, because we all need a bit of help these days. But do at least consider the paid for product, if you can possibly afford it, because you will not be disappointed.
Ok, now I am going to do some work. I am beginning to feel guilty about those lenses, from my last post!

Wealthy Affiliate - Tips For Finding A Niche

Today I wanted to show readers where they can get ideas for a niche.
For many people interested in IM, finding a niche is the first of many puzzles that the need to sort out. This isn’t helped by the fact that some people say - write about what you know - about something you love. Somehow that makes any reasonable thought about something a person likes to do fly right out of their brain! We are left thinking “I don’t have anything I know much about” or “I don’t have anything I particularly am into!”
Others say find something that people love, a niche that is popular. Then find your own angle. That can be easier said than done.
I actually think that the reason people say write about what you know is because it is much easier to write say, thirty articles about something you are passionate about.
However, if you do not want to do that, then find something that is popular and interesting, a new trend. A good place to look for new trends is provided by Google. Google trends show you the things that people are putting into the search engines. View Here. The URL is http://www.google.com/trends.
Another place to look is ebay pulse. View Here. The URL is http://pulse.ebay.com/. You can see which are the things most people are looking for, this can give you good ideas for affiliate products.
Nearly everything you buy online is through an affiliate link on way or another. I have a few lenses at www.squidoo.com with which I promote affiliate products, and even though they have only been up for a couple of months, they have started to bring in a trickle of money. To be honest, I don’t spend a great deal of time on them, I should promote them more really. But even if they only bring in $20-30 every couple of weeks, it’s ok for something I spend minutes a week on. (Sometimes not even that! )
Another place you can go for niche information is dmoz. View Here. The URL is http://www.dmoz.com. Dmoz is a huge directory of all sorts of information and you can dig deep into a section to find a niche that suits you. It is totally free, as well.
Once you have decided on a niche, then you can go and look for affiliate companies. These will have lots of different online stores on their books which will provide you with banners. Then you put the banners on your site or on your lens, anywhere there is traffic. People click and when they buy something, you get a percentage. Obviously the more traffic you send, the more people will click, the more you money you will make.
I use a company that deals with UK businesses. It’s called AffiliateWindow, View Here and it is pretty reliable. You do pay a deposit, I think it is to weed out wannabes but you do get it back after the first month with your earnings. There are hundreds like Affiliate Window all over the internet. Find one that suits you.
